Each of these helps the site remember what you did, kept in your browser’s storage. None is sent to us, and none is used for statistics or advertising.

  • Your Motion, Sound and 3D choices

    What you picked in the Accessibility panel, so every page follows it.

  • Your answers in the trial form

    So nothing is lost if you step away while you’re filling it in. Leave “Remember my answers” unticked on a shared computer.

  • What you’ve typed in the other forms

    The news sign-up and the trial feedback form keep what you type, so a page reload doesn’t lose it.

  • The Orli you made

    If you keep an Orli from Make your Orli, it waits for you on the site’s pages: its look, and its name if you gave one.

  • “No thanks” to keeping an Orli

    If you choose not to keep an Orli you made, so the site doesn’t ask again about the same one.

    So the Orli studio remembers what you were making if you leave and come back.

  • Who you are, if you told us

    If you choose headteacher, SENCO or teacher on the home page, pages show what’s most useful to you first.

  • Whether 3D runs well here

    The home page checks once whether your device can show the 3D worlds smoothly, so it doesn’t have to check again each time you come back to it.

  • Your statistics choice

    Only if you turn anonymous statistics off (below), so we remember not to count your visits.

Anonymous statistics

We count page views and a few actions, like a trial request or a game started, so we know which pages help schools. No cookies, no IDs and no IP addresses.

  • Page views: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits, the site that sent you, your country and the kind of device. It keeps nothing on your device.
  • A few actions: a trial request, a booked call, a one-pager downloaded, a world visited or a game started. We record the action, the page and your country, never anything you typed.
  • How long: the action counts are kept for three months.

Other services

A few things on the site come from other companies. They only load when you use them.

  • Booking a call

    The calendar comes from TidyCal, and loads only when you choose “Show available times”. TidyCal has its own cookies and privacy policy.

  • 3D scenes and games

    The code for our 3D scenes and games comes from jsDelivr, a public code library. If you choose “Play with your hand” in Heart pop, the hand-tracking model comes from Google’s servers. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Keeping the site safe

    Cloudflare, which runs the site, may set a short-lived cookie to tell people from bots. [To be confirmed: whether it does, and what our forms’ bot check keeps in your browser.]

  • Links to other websites

    Sites we link to, such as GOV.UK, have their own cookie and privacy policies.

Clearing it all

Clearing this site’s data in your browser’s settings removes everything above. Your Accessibility choices go back to how your device is set.
