What is Orli Schools?

Practical tools for staff. Friendly companions for children. A clear view of needs for leaders.

  • Guided sessions

Staff lead a five-minute Orli Bite or a short Adventure with one pupil, a small group or the class. Each activity helps pupils regulate: winding down, warming up or pausing to reflect.

    Try a Bite

  • Companions and scrapbooks

Each pupil makes their own Orli and reflects in a scrapbook, by drawing or writing, so children who find words harder join in too. No prep and no worksheets: pupils lead, and what they make is theirs.

    Make your Orli

  • Make needs visible

The baseline survey and the end-of-Adventure survey help you identify what pupils need. Teachers’ session reports add to the picture, so you can see where support will help most.

    How we protect data

Fits the work you’re already doing.

Empowered staff, with tools to support children. Engaged children, with practical ideas for wobbles, transitions and extra support.

  • A boy smiles as he writes at his classroom desk, his green Orli beside him.

    Routines for daily transitions

Back from lunch and buzzing? Pupils grab their Orlis for a quick reset before the next lesson.

  • A girl holds her orange Orli at a small table, with a teaching assistant sitting close beside her.

    Interventions for targeted support

Having a wobble? One pupil talks it through with a trusted adult and their Orli, or a nurture group shares a story.

  • A new girl with a red backpack stands at the school gate, a little shy but smiling.

    Programmes for life’s big changes

Starting school, moving school, exam worries: a familiar Orli helps big changes feel a little smaller.

Orli in your inclusion strategy

What schools tell us

What staff and pupils have told us so far: their experiences, not measured changes in attainment or attendance.

We didn’t want something one-off. It needs to become part of our culture. Orli gave us the knowledge, the skills and most importantly the habit. Staff still use the language. Kids still reference their avatars. It’s a shift.

Rob Bell Headteacher, Consilium Evolve
  • Sessions bring children down faster than resolving incidents directly.

Year 4 teacher, Gillas Lane Primary
  • They’ll be like, oh, can we do an Orli lesson this afternoon? Can we do another one?

    Year 3 teacher, Dubmire Primary
  • As a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact Orli has on our students. Their mental health support services are truly exceptional, providing the care and guidance our students need to navigate the pressures of school life.

Chris, Teacher at St Andrews School
  • It has been a pleasure to work with Orli Health who have consistently shown commitment and responsiveness. They have a genuine desire to help people and succeed with their business.

Early Adopter Programme, Sunderland

May to July 2026, delivered with Together for Children: 8 schools, 286 pupils, 103 sessions.

  • 97%1 of children said they feel more ready to learn
  • 100%1 of participating pupils said they felt a stronger sense of belonging at school
  • 91%1 of sessions rated effective by staff
  • 75%1 of staff said Orli cut planning time and helped manage behaviour incidents

This is self-report: answers people gave, not measured change, so it can’t show what caused a change.

¹ Orli Early Adopter Programme, May to July 2026. Staff and pupil self-report; how many answered each question is still being checked.

Gillas Lane Primary School

Whole school · Years 1–6 · Sunderland

104 pupils, 6 staff, 48 sessions over 10 weeks.

Pupils collected their own Orli at the start of each session and used it throughout. Children now use Orli’s language and strategies beyond the classroom: in the playground, at home and in everyday conversation.

Not proven yet: there’s no baseline or longitudinal data, and pupil feedback came from Years 1, 3 and 4 only.
